Dining

The Campus View Dining Hall is currently under renovation and will be open for the fall 2010 semester.

Food service will be provided by Walter Burke Catering, Santa Fe's premier catering company. Their long-standing reputation for providing fine food to local Santa Fean's will now be extended to students at the College of Santa Fe. Our emphasis will be on providing healthy and varied selections, using locally produced products. The Campus View Café overlooks the Quad and is connected to St. Michael's Hall.

Meal Plans
All students living in the traditional residence halls must select a meal plan. The on-campus program is designed to be flexible and to meet the needs of each individual. The program has two parts: a traditional board meal, which includes "all you care to eat" meals available in the Café every day, with some variations; and a "declining balance system," which uses "flex" dollars. These can be used during the Snack Bar hours where items are sold on an a la carte basis. This flexible system allows students to exercise choice for the majority of their dining.

Meals are provided when traditional classes are in session. The board calendar for all meals during the academic year is available from the Walter Burke Catering Manager or the Housing and Residential Life Office.

For rates, please see the Tuition and Fees page.

MEAL PLAN A:
A: 19 meals per week in the Café.

MEAL PLAN B:
B: 15 meals per week in the Café.

APARTMENT PLAN: (apartment residents only)
C: 10 meals per week in the Café.
D: 7 meals per week in the Café.

Meal Plans A, B, C, and D
Utilizing a "use it or lose it" system, students may purchase 19(A), 15 (B), 10 (C), or 7 (D)meals per week. Students scan their ID cards to deduct meals from their weekly meal balance or use their flex dollars during the Snack Bar hours. Once the meal balance has been met for the week, students have the option of utilizing their flex dollars for additional meals. Any unused meals during the week will not be carried over to subsequent weeks.

*Note: Students living in residence halls must choose either Plan A or Plan B. Apartment residents and commuter students may choose any plan.

Adding Flex Dollars to Your Meal Plan
Adding flex dollars is easy: contact the Dining Services Office and the amount will be billed to your student account and added to your meal card. Note that flex dollars roll over from fall to spring semester, but meals do not.

Changing Your Meal Plan
Students may change meal plans only during the first two weeks of each semester by submitting a request in writing to the Housing and Residential Life Office.

Non-Campus Residents
Non-campus residents may purchase meals on an individual basis, a limited meal plan, or add-on dollars to be used in either dining facility. Contact Dining Service or the Housing and Residential Life Office for more information.
